A message from our president:
As I sit down to write this newsletter, we’re just coming off the Fourth of July weekend—a special one this year as our nation celebrated 250 years of independence. It was a time to gather with family and friends, enjoy the holiday, and reflect on the freedoms we sometimes take for granted.
One of those freedoms is the opportunity to pursue our passions, build businesses, and create opportunities for others. As car wash operators, we’ve each taken a unique path that has led us into this industry. Whether you’re operating a single location or multiple sites, manufacturing equipment, or supplying products and services, we’re all part of an industry built on entrepreneurship, hard work, and innovation.
I can’t help but think what if our Founding Fathers could see us today, they probably never imagined there would be businesses dedicated entirely to washing horseless carriages! Yet the freedom to dream, innovate, and build businesses like ours is exactly what has made America exceptional for the past 250 years.
That same spirit of innovation and collaboration is what continues to drive our association. Every CAP event provides an opportunity to learn something new, strengthen relationships, and help make Pennsylvania’s car wash community feel a little smaller. Whether you’re attending for education, networking, or simply to catch up with fellow operators, there’s always something to take away.
As we move through the second half of the year, we hope to see many of you at our upcoming events.
